EZTrim will mount to any two bladed lawn tractor. The unit comes preassembled and there is some drilling required to attach to your mower deck. There is a keyed switch for added operating safety. It has a spring pointer for ease of judging the proper distance and give you longer string life. While in the cutting position the unit also gives the mower 16″ of additional reach thus allowing it ideal for trimming under trees, low hanging bushes, fences and normal sidewalk, stone walls and etc.

The bracketry is made from 3/16″ steel and a heavy duty 5500rpm DC motor. Also is spring loaded so if an object was to be hit, it will automatically return to the optimum cutting position. Once your trimming is completed this unit will fold up and out of the way of cutting the grass. Precut strings form .050 to .130 diameter can be used. You can also purchase the string in coils and cut into 6″ in length, any diameter from .050 to .130 to use.

EZTrim was designed to be easy to install for nearly mower deck. Using our provided template simply drill 2 holes and fasten with the provided bolts. The EZTrim unit can then be directly wired to your mower’s battery using the provided electrical kit.

While it’s impossible to guarantee compatibility for all mower decks the adjustable fastening plate makes easy work on most common mowers. For a closer look at the adjustable plate please view the photo gallery for high resolution images.

Absolutely. Ease of installation ensures your unit is properly fastened and helps prevent risk of the unit malfunctioning. The unit also comes with a keyed switch. Only when in the off position are you able to remove the key. It can only be operated by the person that has the key.

Similar to standard trimming gear protective eyewear is always encouraged.

In the case of a defective unit we will work with you to fix or replace it within 90 days of purchase. Beyond 90 days we will work with you directly to provide repairs if needed. This unit also has a one year warranty. Please see warranty details in the assembly instructions.
